Pálava, dominated by the limestone Pálava Hills, is part of the outer Western Carpathians, in the Czech Repiublic. Pálava is the driest and hottest area in the Czech Republic. Comprising vast fertile fields, vineyards, and white limestone rocks, Pálava is exceptional also for its rich flora.
